Coiled Heads: Self Portrait in Abstraction
Special two day workshop in which students will learn to coil a large sculptural head and adorn it with personal iconography. On day one, we will begin construction of the head, and day two involves finishing the sculpture with pinched clay attachments, mark making, and underglazes or slips. Anyone can do this project- even beginners!
Carve some personal time out for yourself and come enjoy a unique class that’s fun and rewarding. Bring ideas, your imagination, and an open mind.
Sculpture will be ready to pick up 3 weeks after class. We can ship your work for an additional fee!
